Farmer's Market and Special Orders

For those of us who may have a sweet tooth and any old bakery just won't do...

My name is Sara and I currently bake gluten and soy free treats that can be found at Underdog's booth at the Inner Sunset Farmer's Market (San Francisco) every Sunday from 9am-1pm. It is a fairly new business endeavor but something I have crafted in the kitchen since realizing my own food sensitivities.

Finding a delicious, scrumptious, gluten-free dessert that doesn't taste like cardboard and can even trick gluten eaters, is a hard task. And, my personal sweet tooth is not satisfied with store-bought options. As result, our baked goods are not just any gluten free dessert, they are taste tested again and again before they are presented to our customers.

I use mostly all organic ingredients, buying what I can from farmer's markets and the rest from co-ops. Plus, the treats are sweetened with alternative sugars like Sucanat, Palm sugar, Coconut Nectar, Date sugar and Agave. Many treats are also vegan, or at least dairy free.

And we do special orders too. Please reference the side bar to the right to view our current selection of baked goods with descriptions and photographs. Our mini cupcakes have been a hit for classroom birthday parties, allowing all the children to enjoy something sweet despite their food restrictions.
